Searching first for burial site of Great-Grandfather Cook, Ancel, dod October 1928. Death Certificate shows Union County. He had lived in Baker City, Oregon since about 1885, was shown in Fed Census from 1900, 1910 and 1920 as residing in Baker, but shows as dying in Union. My mothers' dad was a son of Ancell, born in September 1886 in Baker. My mother always told me she had never met her dad, that he had died before she was born, but I have recently discovered that Frank was still married to my mother's mom in 1910 and residing in Tacoma, Washington. On the 1920 Fed Census it shows him as married to a Myrtal born in 1885 residing in Baker. So who is to say. There is listed an Ancell Cook, born Sept 1885 from Oregon that died in Spokane, WA in I believe 1957, whom I believe to be the same pewrson as my mom's dad. Maybe Ancell was Frank's middle name. Elder Ancell had many siblings and if anyone reading this should happen to know anyone related to Ancell Cook who was husband of Anne Brewen, both from Missouri by all means I would love to hear from them and will answer them. If my mom's dad, Frank had further siblings and anyone knows of them, again, please contact me. Thank you very much, great grandson of Ancell and Anne Cook, I remain always and ever devoted to you, Jon
