The National Work at Home Mom Association (NWAHMA) is a non-profit association, which has assembled a phenomenal team of alliances and women who lead this association. Currently, the association has regional executive directors covering a vast part of the United States and Canada. The members of the NWAHMA consist of businesswomen, mothers, and grandmothers, from a broad range of areas. NWAHMA is working on many programs. The association is currently lobbying congress for tax incentives so that companies will outsource more of their in-house work to professional moms with home offices. By providing the resources and tools, more women will find it easier to remain at home with their children while continuing to support the family unit financially. The association’s efforts may greatly reduce the risks of teen suicide, pregnancy, and drug use and early childhood neglect and abuse.
