The Deer Park Lions Club was chartered in 1974. In its history, the club has worked diligently to serve those less fortunate in the Gamber-Smallwood areas of Carroll County. More than $270,000 has been given back to our community through our various service programs. We collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids for recycling in third-world countries and we loan hospital equipment such as shower stools, wheelchairs, walkers and canes. Additionally, our Lions have given thousands of man-hours of labor in service to our neighbors.
