Incorporating Internet Technology in High School Language Classes

Our homepage via Highwired.com exhibits student creations such as essay, poetry, and prose by students in grades 7 through 10. We demonstrate grade level cooperation among students in grades k through 12, most recently exhibiting seasonal stories penned by high school sophomores corraborating with first graders (December 2000). We are currently expanding our Highwired project to include other classrooms and other school departments. Our homepage is an addendum to the school's homepage which is linked to the Covington County Schools homepage. Our campus technology coordinator is Mr. Jerome Parker, and our school principal is Mr. Johnny Taylor.
